In the spring, can I transplant peonies? If so, how do you do it?

I don't have this flower yet, but is it possible to transplant it at this time? I'm not sure because this plant doesn't have a specific time frame for transplanting.

Hi, I know you're eager to try growing peonies, but I'm afraid this season might not be the best time for them. Peonies do best when transplanted in the fall when they're dormant. If you're set on doing it in the spring, just be aware that it might stress the plant out a bit and could delay or reduce flowering that year. If you decide to transplant your peonies in the spring, I have a few tips that might help! First, choose a fabulous, cloudy day to dig up your peonies. Then, carefully dig up your peonies and plant them at the same depth as where they were initially planted. Don't forget to give it water after you've transplanted it!
